-- The North Carolina A&T
men's basketball team trailed by as many as 20 points in the second
half before cutting the lead to five with less than nine minutes to
play. Strong free throw shooting by the New Mexico State Aggies,
however, held off the A&T Aggies 84-68 Thursday night. Robert
Johnson led the way with 15 points.

CAN'T STEP PASS UTEP
Joshua ties career-high with 21 points
EL PASO, TEXAS, November 25, 2009 -- North Carolina A&T got
close; the Aggies even took the lead. But a late first-half surge helped
UTEP earn an 81-66 win over the Aggies in men's basketball on Wednesday.
Marc Hill finished with 10 points and six assists. Thomas Coleman added
11 points and five rebounds. |

MAYHEW EARNS MEAC
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Mayhew is the first Aggie to lead the team in rushing in almost
40 years
GREENSBORO, November 25, 2009 --
North Carolina A&T
running back Mike Mayhew will have some exciting news for his family
over the Thanksgiving Holiday. MEAC coaches and sports information
directors voted Mayhew as the conference's Rookie of the Year.
Mayhew led the Aggies in touchdowns this season with six.

DOWN MTSU WITH 3'S
Alston scores 14 points for the Aggies
GREENSBORO, November 23, 2009 -- Senior Dwane Joshua came
off the bench to score 18 points and grab eight rebounds to lead the
North Carolina A&T men's basketball team to a 65-56 win over Middle
Tennessee State Monday night at Corbett Sports Center. Tavarus
Alston added 14 points and four assists, and freshman Austin Witter
scored 11 points in 11 minutes.

FALL SHORT AT TOWSON
Cook closes in on all-time assists record
TOWSON, Md., November 23, 2009 -- Ta'Wuana Cook scored 25
points and Lamona Smalley added 15 points and eight rebounds, but
the Aggies lost to Towson 74-69 in their final game of the WNIT.
Cook's day included 5-for-9 shooting from 3-point range and 6-for-6
shooting from the free throw line. |

A RESURGENT SEASON ENDS WITH LOSS TO SCSU
Bulldogs were ranked seventh in the nation
ORANGEBURG, S.C., November 21, 2009
-- The North Carolina A&T
2009 football season came to an end on Saturday with a 28-10 loss to
S.C. State at Dawson Stadium. Sophomore Wallace Miles had eight
catches for 66 yards, and Jeremy Graham had nine tackles, one tackle
for loss and an interception.
