RELEASES SIGNINGSGreensboro, September 8, 2006 -- The N.C. A&T baseball team has released the names of its signees and invitees for the upcoming 2007 season. The Aggies signed 16 players, and are expected to have eight of their nine regulars back along with 2005 MEAC Player of the Year Jeremy Jones. He missed the 2006 season because of an injury.
"We are very happy to have these young men competing and studying alongside the returning class,'' said N.C. A&T head baseball coach Keith Shumate. "Each member of this class brings the kind of makeup we are looking for in terms of good grades and a strong desire to win. Each one is capable of making a meaningful contribution to our team."
