CARDINALS SELECT BEATTY IN MLB DRAFT
Beatty is a three-time first-team All-MEAC selection
GREENSBORO, June 10,  2009 --
The St. Louis Cardinals selected North Carolina A&T junior outfielder Christian "CJ" Beatty in the 26th round of the major league baseball draft on Wednesday. Beatty was the 789th overall selection on the second day of the draft.

The  North Carolina A&T baseball team had it s offense working, but so did Bethune-Cookman. In the end, the Wildcats generated enough offense to defeat the Aggies 15-9 in Sunday's MEAC Championship Game at Jackie Robinson Park.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., May 16, 2009 -- The North Carolina A&T baseball team advanced to its third MEAC championship final in five years with a 10-3 win over Florida A&M in an elimination game Saturday night at Jackie Robinson Park. The Aggies will face four-time defending MEAC champion Bethune-Cookman Sunday afternoon at 2.
AGGIES WIN, WILL FACE DEFENDING CHAMPS
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., May 15, 2009 -- The North Carolina A&T baseball team scored seven runs over the first two innings to cruise to an 11-5 win over Florida A&M Friday at the MEAC Tournament played at Jackie Robinson Park. The win advances the Aggies to the semifinal round where they will play Bethune-Cookman Saturday afternoon at 2. The winner will advance to the championship final.

George Hines went 4-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs scored, including the go-ahead run in extra innings, to lead the North Carolina A&T baseball team to a 6-4 win over Delaware State in the opening round game of the MEAC Tournament played at Jackie Robinson Park.
