AGGIES FINISH PERFECTLY AT MEAC DIVISIONAL

NORFOLK, VA, November 14, 2005 -- Courtney Stith has her team primed to win another MEAC Bowling Championship if things continue the way they're going. For the second straight week, the Aggies were 10-0 at a competition.

This time, the Aggies bowled over Florida A&M, S.C. State, Bethune-Cookman, Norfolk State and Winston-Salem State in the MEAC Divisional held in Norfolk, Va. The Aggies improve to 24-6 overall 12-1 in Baker System play and 12-5 in team-match play.

Erica Johnson scored a 1,024 marking the third different bowler in three weeks to score more than 1,000 points. Johnson bowled better than 200 in her first three games, including a season-high 225 in Game 1 versus the Rattlers.

Cox bowled the highest score for an Aggie this season with a 236 against Bethune-Cookman in Game 3. Jamie Brungard also had three games over 200 with her high -- 214 -- coming in Game 3.

in the Baker's system (team play best 3 out of 5) , Bethune-Cookman gave the Aggies  their toughest challenge by taking the Aggies to a Game 5, where the Aggies prevailed 254-193. The Aggies four other competitors were swept.

The Aggies will be back in action again on Nov. 19-20 when they travel to Millsboro, Del to compete in the UMES Shootout.
