Brungard bowls high game of 245TALLAHASSEE, Fla., February 15, 2006 – With the MEAC Tournament a month away, the Aggie bowling team put together a solid performance at the Releaser’s Invitational in Tallahassee, Fla. In team match play, the Aggies knocked off MEAC rivals Florida A&M, Norfolk State, and Morgan State to finish with a 3-1 record. The invitational winner, Bethune-Cookman, beat the Aggie 988-802. Jamie Brungard reached the 200-pin plateau twice, as she bowled a 221 against Florida A&M and a high game of 245 against Morgan State. N.C. A&T finished 1-2 in Baker’s System matches, defeating Norfolk State, 480-403. The Aggies now have an overall record of 60-29 this season, with a 34-11 record against MEAC competition. The Aggies will travel to Nashville, Tenn., to participate in the Music City Classic, hosted by Vanderbilt University, on Mar. 17-18. The MEAC Tournament will take place in Virginia Beach, Va., on Mar. 24-25.
