Position:
Head Bowling Coach
Experience:
Third Season at N.C. A&T
Education:
N.C. A&T '03

Courtney Stith enters her third season as the head coach of North Carolina A&T’s  bowling team.  Stith, a graduate of N.C.  A&T, brings experience and success to the program from the elementary through collegiate levels.  Prior to graduation, Stith was a student-assistant coach for the Aggies bowling team as they collected their third consecutive MEAC Championship.

Coach Stith believes in teaching the concept of T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More).  It is this belief that was instilled in her during her beginning stages in the sport of bowling.  This belief was enforced by her grandfather, Wyoza Taylor and high school coach Don Perryman.

Stith attended St. Ursula Academy in Toledo, Ohio, where she was the city all-event’s champion, city player of the year, accumulated multiple doubles and team titles, and lettered four years on the varsity level.  She also holds the record for the third highest 3-game set bowled by a junior girl of 749.

Stith, a three-time All-MEAC team member, helped lead her team to three MEAC Championship titles (1999, 2001, and 2002).  Stith also collected accolades as a singles and doubles champion in the MEAC Championships during her collegiate career.   Stith earned her B.S., degree in Business Administration (Management) in 2003.
