Aggies
address needs, sign three offensive linemen
GREENSBORO,
N.C., February 1, 2006 –
First-year North
Carolina A&T head coach Lee Fobbs announced the singing of 15 players on
National Signing Day – the first official day football players can sign
National Letters of Intent.
Among Fobbs’ signees
were three offensive lineman, two wide receivers, two defensive backs, two
linebackers, one wide receiver/defensive back, one defensive lineman, one
kicker, one quarterback and two players that wee simply described as
“athletes.”
Fobbs, who officially
took over the Aggies head coaching position on January 3, believes the
Aggies are off to a good start with today’s signings.
“Offensive and
Defensive line are two areas I wanted to address,” said Fobbs. “I was also
concerned about our overall team speed. We have started in the right
directions in addressing those areas.”
