Career: Hard-hitting strong safety who improved in the spring…Has been a starter for the Aggies since arriving to Greensboro, N.C., from Fort Wayne, Ind…Has played in 20 games as an Aggie with 19 starts…Has made 87 tackles, six pass break ups and one interception his career…Will try to improve on his coverage skills to further help the Aggies in the secondary…Forty-two of his 87 career tackles have been solo…Returned to his home state last season to play in the Circle City Classic in Indianapolis against Tennessee State.
2005: Started nine of the 10 games he played last season…Broke up three passes last season, including a crucial break up in a win over Tennessee State in the Circle City Classic in Indianapolis…Ranked seventh on the team in tackles and was third in pass break ups…He was second behind in Wilbert Johnson in tackles made by an Aggies defensive backs…Billingsley made two tackles behind the line of scrimmage…Made six solo tackles and eight total tackles against Elon on Sept. 24…One of his tackles stopped Elon running back Reggie Hall behind the line of scrimmage for a two-yard loss…Made four solo tackles and six total in a win over Morgan State in the Prince George’s Classic in Landover, Md…Made the first interception of his career when he intercepted a pass from S.C. State’s Cleveland McCoy with 24 seconds remaining in the first half…Also had two pass deflections in the game.
2004: Played in 10 games with 10 starts…Made 44 tackles during the season, 23 of them were solo stops…Also had three pass break ups and one tackle for loss…Made four or more tackles in five games…Made four solo tackles and eight total tackles in a road loss to Norfolk State on Oct. 2…Made seven tackles and broke up a pass against S.C. State on Nov. 20…Made four solo tackles against Elon, and along with Wilbert Johnson made a key stop behind the line of scrimmage to help the Aggies win…Had four solo tackles against Howard on Oct. 23…Along with Brandon Ringgold, made an 11-yard stop in the Howard backfield in the second quarter.
