Miles developed into a nice surprise for the Aggies in 2008…He proved to be a reliable receiver for Aggie quarterbacks…Offensive coordinator Chennis Berry compares him to Brandon Trusty, a possession receiver who caught a team-record 63 passes for the Aggies in 2005…Was a late addition to the Aggies roster in 2007…Hard work has moved him into a starting receiver role as preseason camp opens…Has excellent hands and runs precise routes, but also has the ability to beat defensive backs deep…FRESHMAN (2008): Played in 12 games with seven starts on the season…Made a team-high 26 catches for 188 yards and one touchdown…Tied Giorgio Lowrance for the team-high for receptions in a game with six against Hampton on Sept. 20…Lowrance made six catches a week earlier against Norfolk State…Made five catches for 37 yards at Delaware State on Oct. 18…Made just one catch against Howard, but the catch went for 42 yards and set up a 3-yard touchdown run for Michael Ferguson…Scored his only touchdown of the season Nov. 1 when his 2-yard touchdown reception cut Bethune-Cookman’s lead to 17-14… WESTLAKE HIGH: Played two varsity seasons under head coach Dallas Allen…Was also an outstanding soccer player in high school…Won team MVP honors four consecutive years and was a four-year captain…As a senior, he earned second-team all-region honors…PERSONAL: Full name is Wallace Miles…He is the son of Marvin and Annette Miles…He has three siblings, Marvin, Kimberly and Claudia…He was born on Aug. 1, 1989…He is an electrical engineering major who plans to work for a consultant firm or own his own business as an electrician after graduation…Chose N.C.
