After redshirting his first season as a North Carolina A&T Aggie, Valmont stepped in and played a key role on the Aggies offensive line in 2008…Valmont should provide the Aggies with protection up the middle…Ventured to N.C. A&T after local schools in Louisiana passed on him…His presence at N.C. A&T over the next few seasons could help the Aggies offensive line improve tremendously…He is an avid watcher of game film…Physically, he will be an outstanding guard, although coaches hope the mental side of the game will improve…He is also an excellent student and a N.C. A&T scholar athlete...Goes into camp as the No. 1 left guard on the roster…REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2008): Played in 10 games with four starts…Had his best grades against Johnson C. Smith and Winston-Salem State…ST.
