Mack Vincent, a promising young coach, enters his second season as an assistant coach with North Carolina A&T. Vincent is responsible for coaching the Aggie wide receivers. Before moving to Greensboro, Vincent started his coaching career at East Mississippi Community College where he spent the 2006 season. He was responsible for recruiting, assisting with coaching East Mississippi’s special teams and coaching wide receivers. Vincent’s coaching career is just getting started, but if his playing career is any indication, his career will go well. Vincent starred at the University of Louisiana at Monroe for four seasons. He was a three-time all-conference performer and finished his career as the school’s all-time leader in receptions with 203. As a junior at ULM, he ranked 13th in the nation in receiving yards per game and 13th in the nation in receptions per game. Also as a junior, he broke the school’s single-season record in receptions and receiving yards. He made 79 receptions for 1,198 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior. For his career, he had 2,672 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns in 45 games played. He won the team’s Offensive Player of the Year award three years in a row. After his junior season, he was named Team MVP. Following his senior season, he was named ULM’s Athlete of the Year. Vincent received his Bachelors of Science in degree in liberal arts with a concentration in social science in 2005.
