EAVES EARNS COACHING HONOR
Eaves led Aggies to 8-0 February record
GREENSBORO, May 13, 2009 -- North Carolina A&T head men's basketball coach Jerry Eaves has been named the 2009 District 15 National Association of Basketball Coaches Coach of the Year. Eaves led the Aggies to 16 wins and a third-place finish in the MEAC after being picked to finish eighth during the preseason.        
TURNOVERS COST AGGIES IN MEAC TOURNAMENT LOSS
Coleman records third career double-double
WINSTON-SALEM, March 12, 2009 -- Ed Jones scored 22 points and Thomas Coleman had 12 points and 13 rebounds, but the North Carolina A&T men's basketball team turned the ball over 21 times and was eliminated from the MEAC Tournament with a 66-63 loss to Coppin State Thursday night.

The Aggies finish in four-way tie for third place
NORFOLK, Va., March 5, 2009 -- Freshman point guard Marc Hill had 11 points and a career-high six assists, but it was not enough as the North Carolina A&T men's basketball team lost to Norfolk State Thursday night, 74-61. Nick Wilson added 11 points for the Aggies, who go into the tournament the fourth seed.
AGGIES HAVE EIGHT-GAME WIN STREAK COME TO AN END
Coleman records second career double-double
GREENSBORO, March 2, 2009 -- The North Carolina A&T men's basketball teams eight-game winning streak came to an end on Monday with a 59-58 loss to Hampton at Corbett Sports Center. The Aggies were led by Thomas Coleman's 11 points and 11 rebounds. Robert Johnson and Nick Wilson had 10 points apiece.
AGGIE MEN WIN EIGHTH STRAIGHT WITH VICTORY OVER HOWARD
Joshua leads Aggies with 18 points
GREENSBORO, February 28, 2009 -- The North Carolina A&T men's basketball team used a balanced attack to defeat Howard University 69-59 Saturday evening at Corbett Sports Center. The Aggies have now won eighth straight, their longest winning streak since the 1990-91 season. Reserve guard Dwane Joshua led the Aggies with 18 points.
