SEASON OPENER Simpson scores 18 of his 21 in the second half GREENSBORO, November 13, 2009 -- North Carolina A&T sophomore Nic Simpson finished with 21 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the 3-point arc to lead the Aggies men's basketball team to a 92-63 win over Brevard College Friday night at Corbett Sports Center. Thomas Coleman added 11 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots. |

YOUTHFUL AGGIES PREPARE FOR 2009-10 SEASON Coleman was 14th in the nation in blocked shots GREENSBORO, November 10, 2009 -- The North Carolina A&T men's basketball team just completed its annual Blue-Gold game with Nic Simpson's seven 3-pointers and 34 points leading the Gold to an easy win. The real thing starts Friday night at 7 for the Aggies as they take on Brevard College at Corbett Sports Center. |

EARNS COACHING HONOR Eaves led Aggies to 8-0 February record GREENSBORO, May 13, 2009 -- North Carolina A&T head men's basketball coach Jerry Eaves has been named the 2009 District 15 National Association of Basketball Coaches Coach of the Year. Eaves led the Aggies to 16 wins and a third-place finish in the MEAC after being picked to finish eighth during the preseason. |
