Provided exactly what the Aggies needed last season, a quality backup point guard who limited his turnovers and ran the offense efficiently…He came to N.C. A&T with the reputation of being extremely fast with the basketball in his hand and he didn’t disappoint…Although he is 5-foot-8, he did not show any hesitation with taking the ball in the paint to score or create for his teammates…Head coach Jerry Eaves calls him a one-man fastbreak…Hill is also an outstanding shooter, but his greatest strength is his court vision.

2008-2009: Played 32 games without a start...Averaged 3.2 points, 1.6 assists, 1.3 rebounds and 14.8 minutes per game...Shot .293 from the field, .255 from 3-point range and .769 from the free throw line...Had only eight games where he failed to register an assist ...Scored his first career point against the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Nov. 14 when hit a free throw at the 3:12 mark of the first half...Scored his first career field goal in the same game on a lay up with 1:40 remaining in the game...Had a season-high 11 points, dished out a season-high six assists and played a season-high 26 minutes in a loss to Norfolk State on March 5...His other double-figure scoring game came against Texas-Pan American when he scored 10 points on 4-for-7 shooting...Dished out four assists in 16 minutes in a 73-63 win over Florida A&M on Feb. 7.

Bishop McNamara High School Career: Played three varsity seasons at powerhouse program Bishop McNamara...Named to the All-County team as a junior and senior...Was a McDonald’s All-American nominee...Named MVP at the Hoop Group High School Shootout...As a junior, he averaged 11.5 points, 5.0 assists and 2.1 rebounds...Averaged 12.1 points and 5.0 assists as a senior...Played in the 35th Capital Classic High School All-Star Game...Finished his career as the all-time assists leader at Bishop McNamara...Ranks second on the single-season assists list...Maintained a 3.0 or higher throughout his high school career, and he made the honor roll every year.

Personal: Full name is Marc Lynn Hill…He is the son of Marcia and Broderick Hill…Has one sibling, B.L…His nicknames include M-Dubb, The Package, The Blender and M.H…His first basketball memory is losing in the championship game in a pee-wee league game when he was 6…His favorite basketball memory is hitting a half-court shot his senior year to beat a conference rival at the buzzer…If he could be on a television it would be Making The Band because he wants to see how the music industry works…Hill never leaves home without his IPod…If he could own his own business it would be a record label, and he would hire Jay-Z…He enjoys songwriting, rapping and audio engineering.
