N.C. A&T CAREER:

Alsobrook has been an outstanding defensive player and a tremendous student-athlete during her time at North Carolina A&T…She has an astounding .986 fielding percentage…Has made just seven errors in 99 games played…In the classroom, she is a three-time N.C. A&T scholar and a three-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association all-academic team member…The political science major plans to becoming an attorney…Provides the Aggies with a reliable left-hand bat at the bottom of the lineup…Did not play much as a freshman, but over the last two seasons she has been a fixture in the Aggies starting lineup…In the last two years, she has played in 85 of the 98 games the Aggies have played…Alsobrook is a career .213 hitter with 45 RBIs and 11 extra base hits.

2009: Played in 45 games with 43 starts…Hit .167 with 14 RBIs and four extra base hits…Had another stellar season at first base where she committed just two errors and compiled a .992 fielding percentage…Recorded a .296 on-base percentage…Posted four multiple-hit games…Recorded two hits against Mississippi Valley State in a 3-2 Aggies win on Feb. 8…Went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBIs in a hard fought 8-7 loss to Southeast Missouri State on March 17…Recorded two hits, including a triple, and she had an RBI and two runs scored in an 8-2 win over Winston-Salem State on April 4.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER:

Played three varsity seasons at North Moore High School under head coach Sammy McNeil…Also lettered in volleyball and basketball…Named to the All-State team as a junior…Was a two-time All-Yadkin Valley performer…Was the Yadkin Valley Player of the Year runner-up as a junior…Won Yadkin Valley Female Athlete of the Year honors as a senior…Was awarded the John Nesbitt award for the 2005-2006 school year…Was a Wendy’s Heisman Trophy Nominee…Each fall, the program recognizes the nation’s most esteemed high school senior men and women for excellence in academics, athletics, and community involvement…Graduated North Moore with a 4.4 GPA, which ranked her fourth in her senior class…Was elected North Moore’s Student Government Association President as a senior….Was named Homecoming Queen as a senior and was a member of the Beta and Key Club…Was named a Future Leader of America…Named an Outstanding Student of America.
