N.C. A&T CAREER: Spent her first season with N.C. A&T playing in situational roles for the Aggies whether it be coming in late in the game for defensive purpose or as a pinch-hitter…Started a little less than half of the Aggies games…Should be a better contact hitter with work in the off-season...Named to the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association All-Academic team…Has been a constant presence on N.C. A&T’s honor roll …She is in the Honors Program at N.C. A&T and was recognized as a student-scholar athlete. 2006: Finished the season batting .149 after getting off to a hot start…Played in 33 games and made 26 starts as a freshman…Her season was highlighted by a memorable catch she made against Bethune-Cookman in which she ran down a fly ball as she crashed into the fence at the Aggies Softball Complex to help the Aggies eliminate the Wildcats from the MEAC Tournament held in Greensboro in 2006…Made more starts than any other returning sophomore on the Aggies roster…Recorded four RBI on the season, including two at the Aggies home field, the Lady Aggies Softball Complex…Had at least one hit in the first four games of the season…Scored Tabitha Veney and Chaola Simmons on two-run RBI against Charleston Southern…It was the Aggies first two runs of the game in a 5-4 loss on March 11…In her first game as an Aggie on February 18, went 1-for-4 with two runs scored in a win over Savannah State…Had her first career RBI in the second game of the doubleheader against Savannah State as she scored Christina Brock from third….Scored four times as a pinch-runner.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Played three years of varsity softball at Garner High School, where she was a member of the National Honors Society.
