N.C. A&T CAREER:

Returns to the Aggies after having the best season of her career…One of the most improved players in the Aggies softball program…Opened her career at N.C. A&T as a part-time player and a designated hitter…Turned into an everyday player in 2006 with 41 starts in 60 games…Looks to hit more for average this season, but is one of the best power hitters on the Aggies roster…Has a knack for getting the big hit in the clutch…Is another strong student-athlete in the classroom for head coach Mamie Jones…One of the Aggies solid defensive players…Has made only three errors over her first three years at the University…Has a career .936 fielding percentage…Became the first player at the Aggie Softball Complex to hit a home run off the scoreboard in deep center field.

 2006:  Posted impressive power numbers for the Aggies last season and even had coaches intentionally walking her toward the end of the season because of her threat to hit home runs…Led the team in home runs with four, including two that led the Aggies to wins…Was second on the team in slugging percentage with a .426 average…Ranked third on the team in RBI with 21…Batted .202 with seven doubles and one triple…Tied for the team lead in walks with 15…Was 2-for-3 on the season with three RBI with the bases loaded…Had a .333 batting average with runners in scoring position…Was 4-for-8 with a runner on third with less than two outs…Had the best day of any Aggie during the season when she went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and six RBI including a home run in a win over Savannah State on February 18…No other Aggie had as many RBI in a game the rest of the season…On March 18 against Savannah State, had a two-RBI triple in a win over the Tigers…In three games against Savannah State, was 4-for-9 with three runs scored and eight RBI…Had a two-run monster game-winning home run against Howard at the MEAC Roundup on April 7…Helped the Aggies go into extra innings against Norfolk State by hitting a long home run off the scoreboard at the Aggie Softball Complex in the bottom of the seventh inning on April 11…Earlier in the season against Norfolk State, hit a three-run homer and scored a run.

 2005: Played in 11 games with three starts…Hit .400 (4-for-10) and scored seven runs…Walked twice…Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and four runs scored at Savannah State (3/10)…Drew two walks and scored a run against Savannah State (4/1)…Hit a two-run single in only appearance at Norfolk State (4/5).

 2004:  Played in 17 games with seven starts…Logged one hit, a double, in her 18 at bats…. Scored four runs…had an on base percentage of .346…Recorded two putouts and one error on defense.  

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER:

Played four years of varsity softball for head coach Donald Mooring….Also lettered in basketball and captained both softball and basketball teams during her senior season….Selected to the all-conference softball and basketball teams following her senior season…Served as president of the Mentor Club and vice-president of FBLA…Inducted into the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society…Maintained a 3.5 GPA throughout high school which earned a varsity letter.
