N.C. A&T competed in the annual Highlander Swimming Invitational, hosted by Radford University. The Aggies finished the three-day event in sixth place with 231.5 points. Eight different Aggies scored individually, while the relay teams tallied 140 points.  

 Vinetae Wynn led the Aggies individually as she scored in four different events for 28.5 total points. She turned in the top finish for the Aggies, tying Youngstown State’s Brittany Senn for second place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25:15 seconds. Wynn also competed in four of the Aggies five scoring relay teams.

 Gia Wright finished with 23 points in the meet, with 11 of those for a fifth place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.00). Donielle Campbell finished eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time 1:14.09 and scored in two other events to complete the meet with 22 points.

 Wright teamed with her sister, Czamille, Wynn, and Campbell to post the top Aggie relay finish in the 200-yard medley relay. The time of 1:55.32 was good enough for third place and 32 team points. The Aggies also took fifth place in the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relays.

 With the fall portion of the schedule over, the Aggies will enjoy the holiday season. N.C. A&T will begin the New Year at the Campbell Invitational on January 12-13, 2007.
