AGGIES COMPETE IN NEC

Wright competes in two relays for Aggies

 LANDOVER, Md., February 17, 2006 – The North Carolina A&T swimming team finished the first day of the Northeast Conference Women’s Championships in 10^th place on Friday at Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex.

 Gia Wright helped the Aggies score by helping the 200-freestyle relay team finish in eighth place  along with teammates Shanelle Thomas, Donielle Campbell and el-Shair Asha. Wright alsp participated in the 400-yard medley relay, where she and Kirstin Lewis, Campbell and Aasyia Townsell finished with the best time in the ‘B’ Final.

 The Aggies will compete again Saturday morning at 10. The day is scheduled to conclude at 6 p.m.
