CAMELS DEFEAT AGGIES

BUIES CREEK, N.C., November 11, 2005 -- Campbell beat North Carolina A&T 140-65 to record the programs first-ever dual meet win. With the win the Camels move to 1-3 (1-2 NEC), while the Aggies fall to 1-2 (1-2 NEC).

The Camels had a nice team performance, individually winning 10 of the 11 events. The Camels had eight individual event winners and took first in both relays.

The winners for the Camels were: Katie Conley (1,000 Free); Heidi Shallow (200 free); Patricia Jimenez (50 free); Taylor McCauley (200 IM); Heather Seals (100 fly); Sarah Beth McSpadden (100 free); Kristin Thomas (100 back) and Tamara Valcarcel (500 free).

Aggies sophomore Gia Wright took the 100 breaststroke event to prevent the Camels from sweeping the individual awards.

The Aggies next meet will be at the Corbett Sports Center when they take on North Florida on Thursday at 6 p.m.
