PRINCESS ANNE, Md., October 25, 2008 – Senior Rashad Burnett finished 14th and fellow senior Travanni Jett came in 27th as the North Carolina A&T men’s cross country team finished sixth at the 2008 MEAC Championships on Saturday.

PRINCESS ANNE, Md., October 25, 2008 – Senior Rashad Burnett finished 14th and fellow senior Travanni Jett came in 27th as the North Carolina A&T men’s cross country team finished sixth at the 2008 MEAC Championships on Saturday.
Burnett improved on his cross country time from a year ago. Last season, Burnett finished 18th with a time of 28:06.8. This season, Burnett took nearly 45 seconds off of his time as he ran a 27:22.94. The Aggies as a team also improved.
The Aggie men placed ninth last season with just three runners in the top 45. This season, the Aggies placed four runners in the top 45 with two of those runners being freshman. The Aggie women finished 11th on Saturday. The top runner was Jessica Rogers who finished 22nd with a time of 19:34.59.
