AGGIES MEN FINISH SECOND AT GC INVITATIONAL

GREENSBORO, September 29, 2007 The North Carolina A&T’S Rashad Burnett’s eighth place finish overall and first-place finish among Division I runners wasn’t enough for the Aggies to overcome N.C. Central at the Greensboro College Cross Country Invitational as the Eagles took first place by nine points.

Burnett’s fisrt-place finish among Division I runners was his first first-place finish of the season. He ran a time of 27:00.4 in the 8K race. Kavaughn Brown had the second lowest time for the Aggies with a time of 29:21.2 to finish sixth among Division I runners and 43rd overall.

Janee Cadlett had the highest finish among the Aggie women. Cadlett had a 12th place finish among Division I runners and finished 37th overall. Tarell Taylor finished behind her with a time of 22:09.4, which helped her finish 16th in the 5K race. The Aggie women finished fourth at the event.
