GREENSBORO, September 22, 2007 – Burnett followed his 11^th place finish in Raleigh last week with a second-place finish at the Old North State Championships held at Hagan Stone Park on Saturday. Burnett finish with a time of 28:06.3 to complete another week in which he was the fastest Aggies runner.

Kavaughn Brown and Reggie McAfee helped the Aggies finish in second as they finished 12^th and 23^rd respectively. Renaldo Waters also finished in the top 30 with a time of 32:07.5 to finish in 29^th place. For Burnett, it was sixth top 15 finish over the last two seasons.

Janee Cadlett had the highest finish among the Aggie women to help them finish in seventh place. Cadlett finished with a time of 28:25.6. It was Tarell Taylor who finished second among Aggie runners again. She finished in 37^th place with a time of 30:23.1.
