AWAY WITH FIRST-PLACE FINISHES Elliott has impressive showing in the 400 meters UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., February 1, 2010 -- The North Carolina A&T men's indoor track and field team had two runners finishes in first at the Penn State Nationals. Senior Calesio Newman earned his second win of the season in the 60 meters, while sophomore Jarrell Elliott took first-place in the 400 meters. |

NEWMAN NAMED MEAC ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Newman wins second MEAC weekly honor GREENSBORO, January 20, 2010 -- Calesio Newman was named MEAC Male Athlete of the Week after an impressive showing at the Virginia Tech Invitational. Newman ran the fourth fastest time in the nation this season in the 60 meters. |

COUNTRY WOMEN MAKE HISTORY The Lady Aggies had four runners place in the top 20 PRINCESS ANNE, Md., October 31, 2009 -- The North Carolina A&T women's cross country team made history Saturday at the MEAC Championships. The Aggies had the highest finish in school history as it finished in a second-place tie with host Maryland-Eastern Shore. |
