FOUR AGGIES
LEAP INTO NATIONALS
GREENSBORO, May 30, 2009 --
The home "track and field" advantage seemed to work out for the N.C.
A&T track and field teams this weekend at the NCAA East Regional .
The Aggies had four athletes qualify for the 2009 NCAA Division I
Championships held in Fayetteville, Ark., June 10-13. Sprinters
Alexandria Spruiel and Calesio Newman, hurdler Loreal Smith and
triple jumper David McFadgen all had top five finishes to advance.

EARNS TOP QUALIFYING TIME IN 400 METERS
GREENSBORO,
May 29, 2009 --
North Carolina A&T senior Alexandria Spruiel posted the fastest
time in the women's 400 meter preliminaries on Friday during the first
day of the NCAA Division I Track and Field East Regional held at N.C.
A&T's Irwin Belk Track. Loreal Smith also made it to the finals in her
event with a time of 13.37 in the 100 meter hurdles.

FUN, WIN THREE TITLES
Smith wins her fourth title
GREENSBORO, May 2, 2009 --
North Carolina A&T senior Loreal Smith joined two other Aggies as MEAC
outdoor track and field individual champions on Saturday. Men's
sprinter Calesio Newman claimed the 100 meter title, and women's
thrower Jerrine Foster won the discus.

GREENSBORO,

North Carolina A&T
senior hurdler Loreal Smith broke the MEAC and school record in the
100 meter hurdles Friday afternoon at the 2009 MEAC Outdoor Track
and Field Championships being held at N.C. A&T's Irwin Belk Track.
Smith's time was 13.14.
