Superb young receiver who turned the Aggies offense even more dangerous in 2016 with his outstanding freshman season … Won the 2016 MEAC Rookie of the Year award despite not being highly recruited as a football player … He is the second Aggie to win MEAC Rookie of the Year in four years … Named second-team All-MEAC as well … Showed the ability to be a big-play receiver with his ability to break tackles … Has breakaway speed and the athleticism to make tough catches … Has a 10-foot, 3-inch broad jump and a 100-foot wingspan.

2016 Season: Played in 12 games with eight starts …Earned MEAC Rookie of the Year honors as well as being named second-team All-MEAC … Made 35 receptions for 631 yards and a freshman record eight touchdown receptions … Also broke the freshman receiving record for receptions and yards … Led the MEAC in yards per catch (18.03) …  Ranked second in the MEAC in touchdown receptions and third in receiving yards per game (52.6) ... Nationally, ranked 27th in yards per catch and 33rd in receiving touchdowns … Had his first breakout game against Division I-FBS Tulsa when he made five receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown on Sept. 17, becoming the first Aggie freshman to have a 100-yard receiving game since Tarik Cohen in 2013 … Had three receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown on Oct. 15 at Bethune-Cookman … His 37-yard fourth-quarter touchdown reception in the game, gave the Aggies the lead for good in a back-and-forth contest … Had another big game again on Nov. 5 against S.C. State when he had two touchdown receptions including a 9-yard TD reception from Lamar Raynard in the fourth quarter that gave the Aggies the lead for good … Made four catches for 77 yards including a 28-yard TD reception from Oluwafemi Bamiro just before halftime in a 45-14 win over Delaware State on Nov. 12 … Had three receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown at North Carolina Central on Nov. 19. 

High School: Bell was the recipient of the Randy Moss award, given annually to the top wide receiver in West Virginia … Led the state in receiving yards and touchdowns with 1,214 yards and 17 TD’s on 50 receptions … Set numerous single-season school records … Was named the USA Today Offensive Player of the Year for West Virginia … Helped Wheeling Park High School earn the Class AAA state championships.
