2012 Season: Played in 10 games with 10 starts…Did not play against S.C. State on Nov. 10 because he sustained a concussion…Earned second-team All-MEAC honors at season’s end…Made 43 solo tackles and 44 assisted tackles for 87 total…Nine of his tackles went for a total of 30 yards lost…Made one sack, one interception and defended nine passes…Ranked fourth in the MEAC and 65th in nation in tackles per game with 8.7…Ranked 16th in the MEAC in tackles for loss per game (0.90) and passes defended per game (0.90)…Ranked second on the team in tackles and first in tackles per game…Had double-figure tackles four times…Made six tackles and returned an interception 17 yards in a 77-0 A&T win over West Virginia State…Led the Aggies with 11 tackles in a loss at Coastal Carolina on Sept. 1…Had 13 tackles in a 38-10 Aggies win over Howard on Oct. 13…Returned from a concussion injury on Nov. 17 and recorded eight tackles, one for loss and broke up two passes in a 22-16 overtime win over N.C. Central in Durham, N.C.
2011 Season: Started all 11 games…Recorded 56 solo and 25 assisted tackles for a total of 81 on the season …Had more solo tackles than any other Aggie...His 10 tackles for loss was third on the team…Was tied for 12th in the MEAC in tackles with 7.4 per game…Was tied for the MEAC lead among defensive backs in tackles with Hampton’s Justin Blake…Made a career-high 18 tackles against Appalachian State on Sept. 10…His 18 tackles were the most made by any Aggie throughout the season…Made six solo tackles with one sack in a 24-3 win over Morgan State on Oct. 1…Had 16 tackles, including two tackles for loss and one pass breakup at Howard on Oct. 22…Made 12 tackles, including three tackles for loss at S.C. State on Nov. 12…In the same game, he also returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown and forced a fumble.
2010 Season: Played in 10 games with no starts…Finished the season with 11 solo and seven assisted tackles for a total of 18…Began earning more playing time eight games into the season when he recorded four tackles in a win over Howard on Oct. 23…Returned five days later to record five tackles against Bethune-Cookman.
High School: Earned a spot on the North Carolina Independent Scholastic Athletic Association All-State team…Made two interceptions and 112 tackles as a senior…Also participated in the Private School Shrine Bowl game…As a junior, he was an all-conference defensive back, finishing the season with two interceptions and 105 tackles.
