The North Carolina A&T volleyball team begins the 2010 season Friday afternoon at 4:30 in the High Point University Volleyball Classic. The Aggies first opponent will be Appalachian State at HPU's Mills Center. The Aggies are coming off of the worst season in school history. As a result, the Aggies are looking to rebuild with nine freshmen. Appalachian State is coming off of a 14-17 season. The Aggies recently played the N.C. A&T volleyball alumni in a scrimmage. Head coach Toni Conway commented on her expectations for the 2010 season.
