2013 Season: Appeared in 27 games with 20 starts … Hit .204 with 11 hits, including a double and a triple and 11 runs scored…Finished with two hits and scored a pair of runs in a 9-0 victory over S.C. State on March 29 …Recorded a double in loss to Norfolk State on March 13 where she also scored two runs … Tripled eight days later against UNCG… Hit .500 as a leadoff batter and was 3-for-4 in stolen bases.

2012 Season: Played in and started all 50 games…Batted .283 with three doubles, three triples, two home runs, 19 RBI and 29 runs scored …Went 9-for-11 in stolen bases…Tallied a .960 fielding percentage with just four errors…Tied for team lead in triples with Detavia Kenan and Hope Fletcher…Led team in walks with 11…Went 3-for-5 with a triple and four RBI on March 4 against Grambling State…Went 2-for-3  with an RBI and two runs scored in a 6-5 win over Hampton on March 11…Went 2-for-5 with a triple, a home run and four RBI on April 6 at Florida A&M…Named team Golden Glove Defensive Player of the Year.

2011 Season:  As a freshman, batted .191  with four doubles, 10 RBI and 10 runs in 36 games...She had one walk and 27 strikeouts with a stolen base...Her best game of the season was a 2x4 with a double, three RBI and  run performance on April 23 in Game 2 of a doubleheader against Savannah State...Posted a season-high two hits three times...Doubled in both games of a doubleheader on April 23 against Savannah State.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER:
Played varsity softball at Lake Brantley...Made All-District between for three straight years...Earned the Principal's Award as a junior and senior...Smith was also an honor roll student for four consecutive years...Was named to the 2007 Babe Ruth World Championship team where she earned All-American honors...Smith's 16-and-under travel team won the world series.

Full name is Dominique Smith...She is the daughter of Maurice Smith...She has two siblings, Jason and Sierra...Smith is a fashion merchandise and design major who was born on November 10, 1991...Her first softball memory is dropping a fly ball while playing for the No Fear 12-and-under travel team...Smith had to run as a punishment...She said she count on her hand how many fly balls she has dropped since...She also considered Central Florida, Marshall, Arizona and the University of Florida...Enjoys dancing, painting and doing art work...Was voted best looking by her senior class in high school.
