16 Bo McMillan

McMillan enters his junior season in 2014, and looks to be a great defensive outfielder for the Aggies…Holds a career .198 average with 15 doubles, two triples and 29 RBI in 69 games played.

2013 Season: Made 33 starts in 41 games played…Batted .165 with eight doubles, 13 RBI and 10 runs scored…Recorded seven walks and 39 strikeouts with one stolen base…Posted a .960 fielding percentage with 97 putouts… Longest hitting streak was two games on March 31 and April 2…Batted 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI in the season opener against Buffalo…Finished the Buffalo series with a .667 average and three doubles… Batted 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI on March 2 at N.C. Central…Went 3-for-4 on March 23 against Savannah State…Finished 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI on March 26 against UNC Greensboro…Scored a season-best three runs on March 31 at Florida A&M…Recorded four multi-RBI games and four multi-hit games.

2012 Season: Made 22 starts in 28 games…Finished his freshman season with a .241 average (21-for-87), seven doubles, two triples, 16 RBI and 12 runs scored…Posted a season-long six-game hitting streak from May 11-19, batting .316 and collecting eight RBI in that span…Tallied a season-high three RBI in a 3-for-5 performance with a double and a triple on April 14 at N.C. Central…Collected two RBI apiece in back-to-back games on May 16-17 in the MEAC tournament…Finished the MEAC tournament with a .333 average, six RBI and a double…Helped the Aggies earn a series sweep of the Florida A&M Rattlers…Made his A&T debut on Feb. 18, going 1-for-4 with a double…Collected four multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games as a freshman in 2012.

High School: At Apex High School, McMillan played three years of varsity baseball.

Personal: Full name is Jaren Bo McMillan…He is the son of Mark and Cassandra McMillan…Has two siblings, Carisa and Bret… He sas born on Feb. 28, 1993…His major is marketing…Hopes to have a career in professional baseball or in social media marketing…Spent the summer competing and working as a speed training coach…His other interests include spending time with friends…Says he chose to come to A&T to play baseball and help turn around the program…His favorite book is Mind Gym, his favorite television show is “The Walking Dead” and crab legs are his favorite food…Says the best part of being an A&T student-athlete is being able to support and be supported by his fellow student-athletes.
