GREENSBORO - North Carolina A&T State
University will have an opportunity to showcase itself to a live
national-television audience on Thursday, Sept. 27 as the football team faces
Morgan State University at 7:30 p.m., at Aggie Stadium.
The weeknight
contest means there will be some minor changes to how the university normally
handles procedures on a football game day. The following adjustments are in
place to assure the university can still conduct day-to-day operations, while
enjoying Aggies football and the other activities occurring on campus.
Tailgating and the Gates
Tailgating
will begin at 4:30 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 27. The stadium gates will
open at 6 p.m.
East Lindsey Street
The portion
of East Lindsey Street that extends from the corner of Bessemer Avenue to the
corner of Sullivan Street will be closed at 5:30 p.m. This is considered a
portion of the A&T Game Zone. Those wishing to enter East Lindsey Street at
this time must have a game ticket.
Sullivan Street

of Sullivan Street that extends from the corner of Benbow Road to the corner of
East Lindsey Street will be closed starting at 7 p.m., on Wednesday. Cars wishing

proper credentials.
General Classroom Building Parking
North
Carolina A&T Athletics is aware of the opening production at Paul Robeson
Theater Thursday night, and therefore want to assure attendees to this event
have access to parking. The General Classroom Building parking lot will be open
to those wanting to attend the production. There will also be space available
in the Memorial Student Union parking lot.
Aggie Stadium Parking
Aggie Stadium
parking will be closed Wednesday night at 7 p.m. Parking at the stadium will
not reopen until 4:30 p.m., for tailgaters, staff and VIPs. Arrangements will
be made for permitted drivers only.
Bryan Fitness and Wellness Parking
The Bryan
Fitness and Wellness parking lot will be open for normal day-to-day traffic
until 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27. The department of intercollegiate athletics
asks student-athletes complete workouts by 4 p.m., on Sept. 27. The parking lot
will then be utilized for ESPN personnel, tailgaters and VIPs.
Craig Hall Parking
Craig Hall
parking should remain unaffected by Thursday's festivities. The reserved
parking spaces in this lot should only be occupied by permitted drivers.
Marteena Parking
On a normal
Saturday game day, the Marteena parking lot is used for the media and our
guests from the opposing school. However, on weeknights this lot is usually
full. Therefore, those who normally park in the Marteena lot will use the
Laurel Street parking lot on Thursday, Sept. 27. In addition, there will be no
game day tailgating in the Laurel Street parking lot for the Morgan State
contest.
