Talented defensive back who has a great chance to start at the cornerback position in 2016 … Athletic and tenacious, McCoy has played a significant role on special teams and an extra defensive back on passing downs … Makes solid tackles from the defensive backfield … Runs a 4.63 in the 40-yard dash, has a 29-inch vertical and a 91 ½ -inch reach…In his career, he has 31 tackles (22 unassisted) with 15 special teams tackles.  

2015 Season: Played in 12 games with three starts … Made 18 tackles (15 unassisted) with an interception … Made six tackles while playing on special teams … Made the start and had a solid game in coverage to go along with three unassisted tackles in the Aggies historic 41-34 win over Alcorn State in the inaugural Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl on Dec. 19 … Made four unassisted in the Aggies 24-14 win over Bethune-Cookman including a tackle that resulted in no gain on Oct. 17…Made his first career interception in a 28-10 win over Florida A&M on Oct. 31.

2014 Season: Played in 12 games with no starts…Made 13 tackles (seven unassisted) … Nine of his tackles came on special teams…Had a career-high four tackles against Savannah State in a 41-14 win on Nov. 15…Made his first career interception on Sept. 6 in a 31-30 loss to Coastal Carolina at Aggie Stadium.

2013 Season: Did not play in any games.

High School: Played his high school football at Boca Raton…Played four years of varsity football under Lewis Burnham....Played quarterback, safety, running back and receiver at Boca Raton…Named first-team All-County and first-team all-conference.
