Had an historic freshman season for the Aggies in 2013…Became the Aggies No. 1 running back five weeks into the season and parlayed it into winning the MEAC Rookie of the Year Award…Became the first Aggie freshman to rush for more than 1,000 yards…Became just the third player in MEAC history to rush for 1,000 yards as a freshman joining Bethune-Cookman’s Pa’Tell Troutman and Hampton’s Alonzo Coleman…Finished ninth in the Jerry Rice Award voting for the nation’s best FCS freshman…His ninth-place finish made him the only HBCU player to finish in the top 10…Possesses explosiveness and has knack for breaking long runs whether it be in the kicking game or from the line of scrimmage…Earned five MEAC weekly honors during his freshman season…Runs a blazing 4.3 in the 40-yard dash and has a 9-foot, 2-inch broad jump.

2013 Season: Played in 11 games with six starts…Had a MEAC-leading 1,148 yards rushing on 195 carries…Led the MEAC in average per carry (5.9) and scored eight rushing touchdowns on the season…Averaged a conference-leading 104.4 yards per game as well…Named MEAC Rookie of the Year…Had five 100-yard games on the season, including one 200-yard game…Also made 11 receptions for 152 yards and a touchdown…Ranked second in the MEAC in all-purpose yards per game (118.2 ypg)…Registered 1,300 yards of all-purpose yards during the season…Ranked 17th in the nation in rushing, 44th in all-purpose yards, 26th in total rushing yards and 62nd in rushing touchdowns…Rushed for 180 yards on 22 carries and a touchdown in the Aggies 31-26 loss to Hampton on Oct. 12…In the same game, made three receptions for 119 yards and scored on an 81-yard touchdown pass from Lewis Kindle…His 299 yards in all-purpose yards in the game was the 16th-best total in the nation in 2013, and his 81-yard TD reception was the 26th longest…Earned MEAC Player of the Week honors for his efforts…Earned MEAC Player of the Week honors again two weeks later when he ran for 210 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries, including the game winning 8-yard overtime touchdown in the Aggies 20-13 win at Florida A&M on Oct. 26…It was the 27th-best rushing performance in FCS in 2013 and the 11th best in school history…Earned MEAC Rookie of the Week honors after rushing for 130 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries in a 59-12 win over Virginia University Lynchburg on Nov. 2…Picked up the honor again the next week with an 185-yard, one touchdown, 31-carry performance at Morgan State on Nov. 9…Won his third MEAC Player of the Week honor the next week with 98 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries in the Aggies 41-14 win over Savannah State. 

High School: Rushed for 808 yards, including 252 yards in a playoff win against North Brunswick…Also scored 17 touchdowns and averaged 9.18 yards per carry…Had three touchdown receptions and returned three kicks for touchdowns...Earned team MVP honors and was also an all-conference selection...Was one-fourth of the N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 2A state champion 4x100 meter relay team.
