Initially signed with Memphis out of Southwest Dekalb…Will compete for a starting position at middle linebacker in 2016 … Has served as the No. 2 middle linebacker over the past two seasons … Has tremendous strength and gets to the football quickly … Runs a 4.75 in the 40-yard dash and has a 30-inch vertical leap … Can bench press 225 pounds 16 times, his squat max is 545 pounds and he power cleans 305 pounds…Has played in 24 games with one start … Has made 33 tackles (18 unassisted) and three tackles for loss.

2015 Season: Played in 12 games with one start … Made 12 tackles (7 unassisted), forced a fumble and had one tackle for loss … Made four tackles at Elon on Sept. 19.

2014 Season: Played in 12 games without a start…Made 21 tackles (11 unassisted) and had two tackles for loss…Also forced two fumbles, recovered two fumbles and recorded two sacks…Had his best game of the season on Sept. 27 when he made seven tackles (four unassisted) in a 38-22 win at Howard…A week earlier, he made six tackles (three unassisted) in a 59-0 win over Chowan at Aggie Stadium.

High School: Played varsity football at Southwest Dekalb under Buck Godfey…Named first-team All-Region 6 5A after recording 79 solo tackles, 10 tackles for loss and two sacks…Also intercepted a pass, recovered a fumble and scored two touchdowns…Was a Dekalb County All-Star as a senior.
