Should step in for his second season as a starter on the Aggies defensive line … His interior play helped the Aggies maintain their status as one of the best run defenses in the nation … Redshirted his first season as an Aggie before earning playing time in 2015 … Has an impressive 101-inch reach … In 20 career games, he has made 12 starts with 41 tackles (26 unassisted), with 10 tackles for loss and 2 ½ sacks … Gets good penetration into the opponents’ backfield off the snap … Is also a good pass rusher from the interior … Was announced as an Aggie on National Signing Day in 2014 … McKnight was the only defensive lineman signed on that day.

2016 Season: Started all 12 games … Made 30 tackles (18 unassisted), seven tackles for loss and 1 ½ sacks … Made four unassisted tackles in a 45-14 win over Delaware State on Nov. 12 … Made four tackles including a sack in a 35-0 win over Norfolk State on Oct. 6.

2015 Season: Played in eight games without a start … Made 11 tackles (eight unassisted) in a backup role at nose guard … Made a season-best five tackles at Norfolk State on Oct. 10 … Two of his tackles went for loss in the Aggies win … Had two tackles including a TFL at Hampton on Oct. 3.

2014 Season: He took a redshirt season.

High School: Played at Rockdale County High School under head coach Venson Elder…As a senior, made 44 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, six sacks and he forced three fumbles…Named Region 2 Class 6A first team and first-team all-county…Selected to the NUC All-South Classic All-Star Game…Also named to the Florida vs. Georgia High School All-Star Game.
