Outstanding hurdler and jumper in high school who should make an impact in the jump pit for the Aggies…Hopes to make himself a part of the longstanding legacy of great jumpers at North Carolina A&T…Performed as a long and triple jumper in high school.

 High School: Participated in track and field for four seasons at E.C. Glass…Won the Class 4-A indoor state championship in the triple jump as a senior with a leap of 44-feet, 9-inches…In that same season, he also won the north regional, conference and district championships in the triple…Won the Region III indoor championship as a junior in the triple jump with a mark of 44-feet, ½ inch…His personal-best in the triple jump during the outdoor season was a 45-feet, 10-inch jump as a senior…His indoor best was 45-feet, 2-inches jumped at the Seminole District Championships…Won the Seminole District championship in the long jump as a senior with a personal-best 22-feet, 4 ¾ inches…Finished fourth in the conference as a senior during the outdoor season in the long jump with a personal-best 21-feet, 2-inches…Also played football in high school.

 Personal: Full name is Aaron Deane… He is the son of Timothy Deane and Natasha Smith… Has one sister, Arianna Deane… He was born January 31, 1996…Plans to work in medical research… His favorite book is To Kill A Mockingbird… As a pre-competition ritual he enjoys watching videos related to his events.
