Gives the Aggies major depth at the quarterback position behind MEAC Player of the Year Lamar Raynard … Aggies have had big moments with Carter under center … Stepped on the main stage in a big way in his career by leading the Aggies to a come-from-behind win over S.C. State in 2015 … Was expected to redshirt during the 2015 season … His presence helped the Aggies win the MEAC, the Celebration Bowl and the Black College National Championship … Sustained a season-ending knee injury early in the 2016 season but before he was injured he helped the Aggies in an upset win over FBS school Kent State … Has a good throwing arm with the ability to be effective with his legs … His strength is also an asset with a 350-pound bench press, a 275-pound power clean and a 360-pound squat max … Can also bench press 225 pounds 20 times … In his career, he has played 13 games without a start and has thrown for 456 yards and seven touchdowns on 40-for-75 passing and an interception … Also rushed 261 yards and a touchdown on 78 career carries.

2017 Season: Played in seven games without a start … Threw for 79 yards and a touchdown on 5-for-9 passing … Also rushed for 85 yards on 21 carries … His only touchdown pass on the season came against Delaware State when he threw a 25-yard TD pass to Trey Scott in the Aggies 44-3 win on Oct. 7 … Also rushed for 26 yards on six carries in the game … Completed a 12-yard pass to Khris Gardin in the third quarter of the Aggies Celebration Bowl win on Dec. 16 against Grambling State after Lamar Raynard left the game with an injury … Rushed for 22 yards on four carries at Norfolk State on Nov. 4.

2016 Season: Played in two games during the season before sustaining a season-ending knee injury at Kent State on Sept. 10 … Before being injured against the Golden Flashes, he helped the Aggies rally from a 10-0 deficit as he relieved Lamar Raynard and threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Leroy Hill in the third quarter … Injured his knee on a 12-yard run in the fourth quarter … In the game, he was 8-for-13 for 63 yards passing and a touchdown … A week earlier against St. Augustine’s, he was 5-for-7 for 70 yards and a 47-yard touchdown pass to Ron Hunt … Threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns on 13-for-20 passing and no interceptions. 

2015 Season: Played in four games without a start … Threw for 244 yards, four touchdowns and an interception on 22-for-46 passing … Also rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown on 43 carries … Did not play a game in 2015 until Nov. 7 when he entered the game late against S.C. State and tossed the game-winning touchdown to Khris Gardin with 1:39 to play to help the Aggies win 9-6 … Entered the game in relief again the next week against Delaware State and tossed two touchdowns and scored another TD with his feet to lead the Aggies to a 27-6 win … In the same game, he also had 84 yards on 21 carries … His most accurate game came against N.C. Central on Nov. 21 when he completed 12 of his 18 passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.
