Prefers to be called “Mac” McCain … Has historic legacy at N.C. A&T with his grandfather, the late Franklin McCain, being one of the four N.C. A&T students who were a part of the famous 1960 Woolworth lunch-counter sit-in protest that is credited for starting the modern day Civil Rights Movement … The historic foursome were later nicknamed the Greensboro Four and are forever shrined in American history … Aggie coaches have high expectations for Mac McCain because of his size at the cornerback position …Can guard taller receivers while having the speed to stay with the smaller, faster ones … Runs an impressive 4.49 in the 40-yard dash while boasting a 32-inch vertical and a 94 ½-inch reach … Also has a 9-foot, 11 ½-inch broad jump … Made the start at cornerback in the Aggies 2017 Blue & Gold Spring Game in April.

High School: Compiled 96 tackles over his junior and senior seasons at Dudley … Caused two fumbles and deflected 14 passes in 24 games as a Panther … Earned News-Record All-Area honorable mention honors as a senior.
