Enters the 2019 season after helping the Aggies as a reserve along the offensive line in 2018 … At the start of the 2019 season, he is slated to battle for playing time at the right tackle position … Could earn more playing time this season after the Aggies offensive line lost three starters from the 2018 season … Has a 101-inch reach, bench presses 335 pounds and power cleans 260 pounds … Bench presses 225 pounds 15 times and squats 435 pounds … Helped the Aggies win the MEAC title, the Celebration Bowl and the HBCU national championship for the second straight season … Was a part of the resurgence of the Eastern Guilford High School program.

2018 Season: Played in four games for the Aggies last season … Played guard and tackle for the Aggies … Finished the season with 72 snaps played … Had a season grade of 75 percent with 48 positive plays and only eight negative plays … Played 30 snaps in the Aggies 45-6 win over Gardner-Webb on Sept. 8 … Graded out at 86 percent with 24 positive plays and one pancake block … Played 23 snaps in the Aggies 34-6 win at Delaware State where he had 14 positive plays.

High School: Played three varsity seasons at Wake Forest Rolesville …  the Wildcats go 15-1 overall and 8-0 in the conference before losing the Class 3-AA football championship game to Weddington … As a senior, helped the Wildcats rush for 177.7 yards per game … The team also totaled 64 touchdowns … Over the past two seasons of Ali’s career, the Wildcats went 22-5.
