Played his first full season as the Aggies starting cornerback in 2016 … Will battle again to be the Aggies starter at corner … His journey to becoming the Aggies starter at corner started with him initially being a walk-on … Started out as a special teams player before becoming a starter … Has excellent cover skills, good techniques and a good work ethic … Came to N.C. A&T after originally signing with Concord University in West Virginia …  Decided that he instead wanted to play for a Division I-FCS school and walked on at N.C. A&T … Last offseason he clocked in with a 4.35 second 40-yard dash … Has played in 24 games with 10 starts … Has 57 tackles (44 unassisted) with 14 pass defenses and five interceptions in his career.

2016 Season: Played in 12 games with nine starts … Made 51 tackles (40 unassisted) with 12 pass defenses and three interception … During the season, he also forced a fumble and recovered a fumble … Ranked sixth in the conference and 63rd in the nation in pass defenses … Made seven tackles, all unassisted, in the Aggies win over Hampton on Sept. 29 on ESPNU … Had a big game against S.C. State on Nov. 5 where he broke up two passes and returned an interception 29 yards for a touchdown … Willis’ INT against S.C. State came with the Bulldogs trying to drive down the field to win the game in what ended with the Aggies winning 30-20.

2015 Season: Played in 12 games without a start … Made six tackles (4 unassisted) and two interceptions … Made his first career interception on Sept. 5 in a lopsided win over Shaw at Aggie Stadium … Willis returned the pick 32 yards for his first career touchdown … Also picked off a pass against Howard on Oct. 24 to help the Aggies win homecoming.

2014 Season: Did not play during the season.

High School: Played varsity football at Statesville…Led Statesville to a 13-2 record and No. 19 ranking in the state according to MaxPreps…Earned All-Renaissance honors as a senior…Recorded seven interceptions and seven punt returns for touchdowns in his career…Had 58 tackles, three INTs and 14 pass defenses as a junior…Named NPC Special Teams Player of the Year as a senior.
