A gifted pass rusher who should make games difficult for quarterbacks during his career … Has a chance to enter the season as the Aggies starting defensive end … Verbally committed to play at N.C. A&T in January of 2017 … Was announced as a signee on Feb. 1, 2017 … Has the strength to also be a good run stopper for the Aggies … Also considered Lenior Rhyne and Fayetteville State … Has tremendous agility and quickness … Should make it hard on offensive linemen with is speed … Runs a 4.73 in the 40-yard dash, has a 30 ½-inch vertical jump and can bench press 225 pounds 18 times.

2018 Season: Played in three games last season without a start … Made five tackles (two unassisted) … Made two tackles (zero unassisted) in the Aggies 45-0 win over N.C. Central on Nov. 17.

2017 Season: Took a redshirt season. 

High School: Posted 21 sacks as a senior as he earned defensive player of the year in the Big South Conference … Led the Huskies to an undefeated season in the Big South and the Huskies won their first conference championship since 1996 …  Also helped the Huskies win two playoff games before losing to eventual state champion Shelby … Harrell was a first-team All-Gazette selection.
