Enters the season with huge expectations around him after closing the 2018 season as the Celebration Bowl Game defensive MVP … Will enter the season as the Aggies starting rover, a great position for him because he has good cover skills and he is an excellent tackler … Has now played two years in the Aggies program after transferring in from Florida Atlantic University … Has helped the Aggies maintain one of the top defenses in the country as the team had the No. 3  ranked defense in the country … Very athletic player with a desire to make big plays on special teams and defense … Even worked his way on to the two-deep as a redshirt freshman at FAU, which allowed him to start three games ... Named preseason All-MEAC third-team prior to the 2019 season. 

2018 Season: Played in 12 games with five starts … Made 40 tackles (24 unassisted) with 5.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery … Made 30 of his 40 tackles over the last five games of the season … Had his breakout game as an Aggie during the Celebration Bowl when he made a career-high nine tackles (six unassisted) and a career-high 4.0 tackles for loss … Was named the game’s defensive MVP as the Aggies defeated Alcorn State 24-22 as they clinched their second straight HBCU national championship … Made eight tackles (four unassisted) and broke up a pass in the Aggies key 35-10 conference win at Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 20 … Had back-to-back weeks with six tackles against Norfolk State on Nov. 3 and at Savannah State on Nov. 10, both conference wins for N.C. A&T.

2017 Season: Played in 11 games with two starts … Made 16 tackles (eight unassisted), forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and had a tackle for loss … Had an outstanding debut for the Aggies making seven tackles (two unassisted) in the Aggies convincing 45-3 win over Gardner-Webb on Sept. 2 … Had his first interception as an Aggie on Sept. 9 as he picked off a pass against Mars Hill and returned it 17 yards.

2016 Season At FAU: Played in 10 games with three starts … Made 27 tackles (18 unassisted), one interception and had two pass defenses … Recorded four tackles in a loss to Western Kentucky … Tallied three tackles (one unassisted) and had his first career interception in a win over Rice … Earned his first career start and recorded six tackles (two unassisted) in a win over UTEP … Posted three tackles (one unassisted) and had a quarterback hurry in a loss to Old Dominion.

2015 Season: Took a redshirt as a true freshman.

High School: Played at Stranahan High School under head coach Tally Adams … Recorded 160 career tackles, three interceptions and 17 pass defenses … In addition, forced three fumbles, recovered one and recorded 2 ½ sacks … Earned first-team all-county and was named to Broward County’s top-50 at No. 30 … Played in the Broward versus Dade All-Star Game … Three-sport athlete who played football, basketball and track and field … Was a three-star recruit by 247 Sports.

Personal: Full name is Richie Kittles … He is the son of Richie Kittles and Tonya Burris … Was born Dec. 28, 1996 in Dillard Park, Fla. … Majored in criminal justice at FAU.
