A&T in January of 2018 … Will likely be the Aggies primary punter after having a terrific freshman season … Also has the potential to hit field goals and extra points … Has a range between 40-45 yards on field goals.

2018 Season: Played in 12 games … Punted the ball 66 times for 2,609 yards for an average of 39.5 yards … His punts resulted in six touchbacks, nine fair catches and 21 kicks being placed inside the opponents’ 20-yard line … Had six punts travel 50 yards or more … Ranked second in the MEAC in number of punts, third in yards punted and sixth in punting average … Had a great game at NCCU on Nov. 17 with two punts that went over 50 yards including a season-high 54 yarder in the Aggies 45-0 win over Eagles … Also had two punts downed inside the 20 in the game … Punted the ball eight times in the Aggies win over No. 6 Jacksonville State where he averaged 40.2 yards per punt including three punts inside the 20-yard line … Punted the ball five times in the Aggies HBCU national championship win over Alcorn State in the Celebration Bowl at Mercedes-Benz in Atlanta where he averaged 41.4 yards per punt including a 52 yarder.

High School: Played varsity football for North Brunswick High School … As a senior, Rivers averaged 44 yards per punt and was named to the 3-AA Mideastern all-conference team. … Was named first-team all-area and was his team’s MVP.
