Bio

Improved immensely throughout the season … Helped the Aggies reach the MEAC tournament championship game in 14 years … Was the most accurate Aggie during the 2018 season from her middle hitter position … Also played well defensively for the Aggies … Division I transfer out of UNC Pembroke … Played two seasons for the Braves before coming to N.C. A&T  … A versatile player who can post points on the scoreboard for the Aggies offensively and defensively … Head coach Hal Clifton says she has a drive and a determination to win … He calls her a leader who is willing to push her teammates in practice every day.

 

2018 Season: Played in 24 matches with 19 starts … Played in 81 sets and totaled 98 kills (1.21) with 247 total attacks for a team-leading .215 hitting percentage … Compiled 41 blocks (0.51), 22 digs, five assists and finished the season with 123 points … Finished the season with double-figure kills once when she had 10 kills, no attack errors for a .714 hitting percentage in a 3-1 win over N.C. Central on Oct. 12 at N.C. A&T’s Moore Gymnasium … Had a career-high seven blocks at N.C. Central on Nov. 8 as the Aggies defeated their archrivals 3-0 … Posted five blocks in a 3-1 loss to Florida A&M on Sept. 28 at Moore Gymnasium … Registered seven kills and three blocks in the Aggies 3-2 MEAC quarterfinal win over Maryland Eastern Shore … Had five kills and two blocks in the Aggies historic 3-1 win over Florida A&M in the semifinal match.

 

UNC Pembroke:  Led the Braves in attack percentage, kills, blocks and points as a rookie … Was a North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association first-team All-State selection as a sophomore.

 

High School: Played three years at Hough High School for head coach Sandi Skidmore.  Earned all-conference as a senior by registering 175 kills and 80 blocks … In her final season, she helped her team become conference champions with a 22-5 record and an undefeated season in conference play for the second consecutive year.
