Transferred in from Savannah State after SSU moved down to Division II … Played two seasons for the SSU Tigers … Has the breakaway speed to help the Aggies in the return game … Runs a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash … Has 10-foot, 2-inche broad jump … Also has an impressive 35 ½-inch vertical jump … Played in 21 career games for the Tigers where he had 14 career receptions for 191 yards, returned 25 punts for 358 yards for a 14.3 yard per return average and returned 54 kickoffs for 1,100 yards (20.4 per return) and one touchdown … As an Aggie, he should play as a slot receiver and a punt and kickoff returner.

2018 Season at SSU: Played in 10 games with eight starts as a sophomore … Made six receptions for 93 yards (15.5) … Returned nine punts for 114 yards (12.7) ...  Also returned 25 kicks for 478 yards (19.1).

2017 Season at SSU: Played in 11 games without a start … Made eight receptions for 98 yards … Returned 15 punts for 202 yards (13.5) … Also returned 30 kickoffs for 664 yards and a touchdown … Ranked second in the MEAC in kickoff return average (22.1) as a freshman in 2017 … Earned third-team All-MEAC honors as a return specialist in 2017 … His kickoff return for a touchdown came against Delaware State on Nov. 4 as he went 70 yards for the score.

Personal: Full name is Jamichael Lerel Baldwin and he was born on September 18, 1998 … Majors in mass communications…He is the son of Kimberly Harris and Jamie Baldwin… Expected to graduate in 2021 and his post-college plans are to coach college football or go into sports broadcasting…Favorite football player is Barry Sanders and the person most influential on football career is his dad.
