Should add to the stellar play head coach Tarrell Robinson has grown accustomed to from his point guards … Transfers to N.C. A&T from the University of North Carolina … Played three games with the Tar Heels during the 2018-19 season … Expected to bring excitement to Corbett Sports Center with her outstanding ball-handling skills … Has tremendous quickness at the point guard position and she is proficient at scoring the basketball … Sees the floor well and is great in the open court … Robinson says she has the potential to be a great floor leader for the Aggies. 

 

2018-19 Season at UNC: Played three games for the Tar Heels and a total of four minutes … Played against UNC Wilmington, UNC Greensboro and Howard … Had only one field goal attempt during the season, a 3-pointer against UNCW. 

 

High School: Played her prep basketball at Providence Day School … As a senior at PDS, Boyd led the Chargers to a 24-7 record, an appearance in the state semifinals and helped them earn a share of the CISAA conference championship … Was a two-time North Carolina Independent Schools all-state performer after averaging 20.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 2.6 assists per game … Rated as a three-star guard by ESPN … Starred as the starting point guard on three state championship teams at PDS … Named CISAA Player of the Year and was a McDonald’s All-American nominee as a senior … Won two Nike National Championships and three AAU state titles while earning all-conference honors all four years of her high school career.
