2018 Outdoor Season at Butler: Participated in six meets and 17 events throughout the season … Qualified for the Region VI Outdoor Track and Field Championships … Helped her 4x100 meter relay team win the regional with a time of 45.92 … Ran a personal-best 23.84 to win the regional in the women’s 200 meters … Also at the regionals, Anderson ran a personal-best 11.80 in the 100m preliminary before running a wind-aided 11.69 in the 100m final to finish second … Qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Championships in the 100, 200 and 4x100 … Placed fifth nationally in the 200 (23.45) and third in the 4x100 (45.35) … Opened the season with a win in the 100m (11.71) at the Butch Reynolds Invitational on March 9 before following up with a 200m win the following week at the Emporia State Spring Invitational (24.74).
2018 Indoor Season at Butler: Participated in five meets and 17 events throughout the season … Competed at the Region VI Regional Championships where she ran a personal-best 7.70 in the 60 meters to finish fourth in the preliminary … Placed second in the 200m in 24.69 at the regional … Qualified for the NJCAA championships in the 60, 200 and 4x400 … Finished fourth nationally in the 200 (24.02) and eighth nationally in the 4x400 (3:51.09). Opened her junior college career with three top-5 finishes at the Graduate Classic … Placed second in the 60m (7.82), third in the 200m (25.08) and fifth in the 4x400 (4:04.07).
