2018 Season at Campbell: Started all 11 games … Made 67 tackles (39 unassisted) and 6.0 tackles for loss …Collected two interceptions with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery…Also broke up a pass and recorded a QB hurry … Notched a pick-six (84 yards) with six tackles in Campbell’s season-opening win over Chowan…Made three stops in a win at Georgetown…Collected another interception to go along with seven tackles against Coastal Carolina…Recovered a fumble and posted three tackles in a win over Wagner…Collected 10 tackles, with 1.0 TFL and a QB hurry at Monmouth … Made eight stops, with 1.0 tackle for loss against Gardner-Webb … Recorded eight tackles including a season-high 3.0 stops for loss in a win at Presbyterian…Collected a season-high 11 tackles adding 1.0 TFL against Charleston Southern.

2017 Season at Campbell: Played in 11 games … Named to the PFL Academic Honor Roll…Split time at safety and cornerback for the Camels … Made 46 tackles (30 unassisted) and 0.5 tackles for loss …Made three interceptions and forced a fumble…Tallied 140 interception return yards including a 71-yard pick-6 at Stetson…Broke up eight passes on the season including three at Butler…Made a season-high seven tackles three times (Georgetown, at Stetson, at Davidson) … Also recorded a 42-yard INT return against Georgetown…Added an interception with a 27-yard return against Jacksonville.
2016 Season at Campbell: Played in 10 games … Made 26 tackles (17 unassisted), broke up one pass, forced two fumbles and recovered another…Made a season-high five tackles at Chowan…Made three tackles and forced two fumbles against Presbyterian…Made four tackles in a win over Davidson…
2015 Season: Named to the PFL Academic Honor Roll…Redshirted the 2015 season.
High School: Played high school football at Providence Day …  Earned the team’s defensive back of the year as a junior and senior…Collected special teams player of the year honors as a sophomore and a senior…Named all-state as a junior…Helped the Chargers to a state championship as a freshman and a state finals appearance as a sophomore…Gathered 400 yards receiving as a senior with three interceptions, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one kickoff return for a touchdown, one receiving score and over 1,000 all-purpose yards…Set a school record with seven interceptions in a season…Totaled 16 career interceptions with five forced fumbles…Also led Providence Day to a conference basketball championship, as well as two state track championships with a third-place showing in the state triple jump.

Personal: Full name is Deontae Javon Henderson … He is the son of Dontae and Cindy Henderson and was born on May 25, 1997 … Has three siblings, Taylor, Trae and Cobie…Father played football at Savannah State.
