EAST GREENSBORO – North Carolina A&T volleyball is still undefeated in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) after eight matches.

Freshman Addy Warfield recorded her fifth career double-double with a team-high 14 assists and a match-high 10 digs to lead the Aggies to a 3-0 win over Delaware State (25-10, 16, 19) Sunday afternoon at Moore Gymnasium. N.C. A&T started hot in the first set by scoring the first 10 points of the match with Warfield serving. The Aggies lead eventually grew to 13-2. The closest the Hornets (8-15, 3-5 MEAC) got was eight at 17-9. ware State scored seven of the next 11 points to cut the lead to eight points, 17-9.

The Aggies scored the next five points to take complete command of the set, however as Brewer earned two kills and freshman Mallory Porcher had a kill during the run to lead the Aggies to the first-set win.

Delaware State held a few leads in the second set and at one point led 12-11, but with Milanna Morgan serving, the Aggies scored the next seven points to increase the lead to eight points, 19-11. Morgan also had a service ace during the spurt.  After a DSU point, with Makaylah Elliott serving, N.C. A&T scored the next five points to increase the lead to 12 points at 24-12.

Haynesworth had four kills during the run.

The Hornets tried to come back by scoring the next four points to cut the lead to eight points, 24-16, but Haynesworth's kill gave the Aggies the nine-point set win to take a 2-0 match lead.

N.C. A&T held a 12-9 lead in the third set before going on a run. With Laboy-Rivera serving, the Aggies scored four consecutive points to increase their lead to seven points at 16-9. Pitt and Shabazz had a kill apiece during the run.

After a Delaware State point, the Aggies scored the next five points with Warfield serving.
