Aggies Prepare For Busy August

GREENSBORO – Coming off of its first winning season in nine years, the North Carolina A&T football team will report to preseason camp on Wednesday, Aug. 7.

The Aggies’ first preseason practice will take place on Thursday, Aug. 8 at 4 p.m., behind Aggie Stadium. The team will practice at 9 a.m., the following two days. A&T’s first two-a-day practices will occur on Wednesday, Aug. 14 when the Aggies take the field at 9 a.m., and 7 p.m.

On Aug. 24, Aggie Athletics will hold its annual Aggie Fun Fest event at 12 p.m., behind Aggie Stadium and adjacent to the Lady Aggies Softball Complex. There will be great music, food and a punt, pass and kick competition. Fans will also be able to meet the Aggies football, volleyball and cross country teams.

A&T football won its last four games of 2012 to finish 7-4. The 2013 season opens in Boone, N.C., against Appalachian State on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. The Aggies home opener is Saturday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m., versus Elon.
