Dwyan Luckey enters his first season as an offensive graduate assistant for the North Carolina A&T football program. Luckey comes to A&T after working within the Western Carolina program for 3 ½ years. In his most recent role with the Catamounts, he served as student defensive quality control.
His responsibilities included film breakdown, creation of the playbook, classroom checks and setting up drills. Before serving as quality control, he was a graduate/recruiting assistant within the program. During that time, he assisted in all aspects of recruiting such as critiquing and analyzing prospective student-athletes, planning for official and unofficial recruiting visits by prospective student-athletes and he helped in the creation of Western Carolina football recruiting manual.
He also assisted in summer prospect football camps and managed the offensive and defensive scout teams.
Luckey graduated from Western Carolina in 2010 with a B.S., degree in sports management. He is currently working on a Master’s of Arts degree in teaching with a concentration in physical education. He played prep football at Concord High School, where he was a part of a state championship team in 2004.
