He has won four MEAC triple jump titles since 2013 with two indoor and outdoor crowns apiece. He also advanced to the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round held in Jacksonville, Fla., in 2015. Long jumper Frank Quarles is a two-time MEAC outdoor men's long jump champion (2014 & 15). During the 2015 indoor season, Quarles also took home the MEAC title in the long jump.
Two Vance athletes earned gold at the 2013 MEAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Marquis Noble jumped 23-feet, 6 ¾ inches to win the men’s long jump, while Smith claimed the triple at 51-feet, 2 ¾ inches. In addition to her duties on the track, Vance will also serve as the programs operations coordinator. She brings with her seven years of experience competing and working with the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

During her tenure at B-CU, she helped to prepare and develop several athletes for the decathlon event. All athletes under Vance's tutelage earned personal best performances every year.
Prior to joining the B-CU staff, she was an outstanding student-athlete who graduated Cum-Laude from S.C. State University with a degree in biology. As a collegiate, she held the MEAC indoor track and field pentathlon record for three years starting in 2009, and currently holds the Bulldogs record in the women's 400 meter hurdles.
A member of the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, Vance is also USA Track and Field Level I and Level II Certified in the horizontal and vertical jump events.
